Every year, LMU uses the winter break to complete necessary repairs and improvements across the Westchester campus. Please be advised of the following projects during this year’s holiday closure:
- Campus Wide Power Outage on Dec. 16 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. The campus will remain open, but all academic buildings will be locked. Please use caution when driving and walking around campus, especially after dusk when lighting will be limited Read more.
- Lot A Catch Basin Upgrade – The university will be working to upgrade the drain in Lot A from Dec. 18, 2023, through January 6, 2024. 12/18-1/6. There will be noise associated with work taking place.
- Tree Trimming – The Stone Pine trees along 80th Street will be trimmed on Dec. 26 – 28 between 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Noise will be audible while the work is in progress.
The last day of classes is on Dec. 15. The Westchester campus will be closed from Dec. 22, 2023, through Jan. 2, 2024.
