Loyola Marymount University filed an amendment to its 2011 master plan with City of Los Angeles in August 2019. For the past two years, the university has led intensive outreach and collaboration efforts with our neighbors, resulting in 100s of engagements (including individual meetings, open fora, presentations, etc.) to help us better understand our local communities interests and challenges. Responsive to our neighbors’ requests, we revised the master plan amendment to address neighborhood concerns, which led to conditional approvals and support by our local Neighborhood Council.
