Loyola Marymount University proudly sponsored the 25th Annual LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce Fourth of July Parade.
This year’s “We Love L.A.” theme celebrated everything that makes the city shine, from iconic landmarks and beaches to vibrant, diverse neighborhoods.
LMU’s “Brighten Your Summer” float highlighted the university’s free public events, including Shakespeare on the Bluff, Summer Movie Nights, and recycling and composting classes. Members of the women’s and men’s basketball teams, LMU cheer squad, and KXLU 88.9 FM joined the float, bringing Lion spirit to Loyola Boulevard.
“The Fourth of July Parade is one of the community’s most cherished traditions, and LMU is proud to help bring neighbors together in celebration,” said Fred Puza, LMU’s director of community relations. “The parade also provides an opportunity to share the many ways LMU welcomes and engages the broader community throughout the summer.”
The annual parade brought together neighbors, families, local businesses, and community organizations from across Westchester and Playa del Rey.
